The body is always rotating on itself, in a continuous dilation of time.

In this work, the action evoked by the word “turning” in the title is represented in a literal way by a body that rotates around its own axis and goes on a psychophysical and emotional journey. A sustained dance in which the broader meaning of the word emerges: to evolve and change. As in a sort of ready-made, Sciarroni’s work uses existing and well-established elements that are analysed, broken down and re-composed into “emotional events” in which the exchange between the dancer and audience is continually re-established.
