Edoardo Cianfanelli, aka Rodion (like the protagonist of Fyodor Dostoevsky’s novel Crime and Punishment) is a classical pianist with a conservatory diploma. An electronic music producer with 20 years of experience, he suffers from the absence of classical music in the clubbing world. Yet some of the classical pieces are some of the most pop songs ever composed, and lend themselves perfectly to a danceable DJ set. Debunking preconceptions that see classical music as intellectual and niche music, Rodion offers an engaging and liberating moment with his DJ set featuring Stravinsky, Bartok, Ravel and Chopin.
