One of the projects the winners of the 12th edition of Italian Council (2023), the prestigious international programme of the Contemporary Creativity Directorate General of the Ministry of Culture that promotes Italian art in the world
The project, which began with a period of research and study in Los Angeles with the American photographer John Divola, will become part of MAXXI’s permanent collection.

In its presentation at MAXXI L’Aquila, the work will be accompanied by the performance AAT (Advanced Abstract T), part of the programme of PERFORMATIVE04, the international festival of performance art, dance, music and theatre.
Lorenzo Senni (1983) is a multidisciplinary artist, composer and producer, originally from Cesena and based in Milan. He studied musicology at DAMS in Bologna. For Senni, visual art and music are part of a single artistic thought.
